This 320,000 square-foot facility boasts 190 acute care beds, a rehabilitation center, inpatient and outpatient surgery, a primary stroke center, cardiac services, and a 24-hour emergency department. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team of Case Managers in a dynamic acute care setting.

Lead and Innovate Case Management in a Dynamic Hospital

As Director of Case Management, you will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care through effective resource management and utilization review.

About the Opportunity:

The Director of Case Management will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care through the effective management of resources and utilization review.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Case Management department.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Case Management staff.
• Develop and implement Case Management policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care and discharge planning.
• Monitor and analyze utilization data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Educate staff and patients on Case Management processes and resources.
• Participate in hospital committees and initiatives related to quality improvement and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Current California RN license.
• BSN minimum (MSN preferred).
• At least 3 years of clinical case management/utilization review experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Current BLS certification.
• Hospital experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Case Management/Utilization review experience.
