Virtus Healthcare Staffing is pleased to partner with a leading regional medical center in Twin Falls, Idaho, to recruit a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for their Inpatient Neuro/Ortho Rehabilitation Unit. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients on their journey to recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional status to develop individualized care plans.
• Care Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient, focusing on maximizing functional independence and improving quality of life.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Provide skilled nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, pain management, and patient education.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
• Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients’ rights and well-being, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary for optimal recovery.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Experience:
  • 1 years’ experience
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Preferred:
  • Experience in rehabilitation nursing or a related specialty
  • Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN)
