RN Medical Surgical Inpatient Care

Location: Watertown, WI

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our partner medical center in Watertown, WI, on their Med/Surg Inpatient unit. This is a full-time, day-shift position offering a rewarding opportunity to provide personalized and exceptional care to every patient.

Job Description:

This full-time, day-shift position offers an opportunity to join a team of passionate, dedicated, and devoted RNs! We are transforming the way healthcare is delivered and looking to add exceptional, experienced RNs to our already remarkable team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate and personalized nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and document accurately.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless and holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on their condition, treatment plan, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Must-Haves:
  • Associate of Science Degree in Nursing
  • Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Current ACLS certification for HealthCare Providers or within 6 months of hire
• Nice to Haves:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
  • Three years of current critical care RN experience
  • Current CMSRN certification or within 2 years of hire

Benefits:

• Sign-on Bonus: $20,000 ($19,900 paid out within 30 days of start, $100 at 24 months)

Schedule:

• Full-Time: 0.9 FTE (36 Hours per week)
• Shift: Day Shift – 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
