Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join our partner medical facility, a Level I Trauma Center, in Burlington, VT. This role offers an excellent opportunity to focus on women’s health within a dynamic diagnostic imaging environment.

Provide Expert Women’s Health Ultrasound Services

As a Sonographer specializing in women’s health, you will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasounds, primarily focusing on OB/GYN examinations. You will utilize sophisticated ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasounds, primarily focusing on OB/GYN examinations.
• Utilize sophisticated ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Work independently and collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Must-Haves:
  • Advanced Certification: ARDMS OB/GYN Certified
  • Education: Graduate of a certified CAAHEP school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or a two-year allied health equivalent.
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) experience
  • Strong team player mentality
  • Effective communication skills
  • Critical thinking abilities during scanning
