Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Pediatric Outpatient

13-Week Travel Assignment | Day Shift | Pomona, CA | Level II Trauma Center

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our client's team at a Level II Trauma Center in Pomona, CA. This exciting travel opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric outpatient care.

Provide Expert Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Services

As a Travel SLP, you will provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. You will utilize your expertise in swallow, speech, cognitive, and voice therapy to improve patient outcomes.

Position Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week (Client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week assignment).
• Experience Requirement: Minimum of 2 years, with specialized experience in pediatric outpatient care (swallow, speech, cognitive, and voice therapy).
• Licensure: Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Pending licensure is not accepted.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted!
• On-Call Requirements: None.
• Floating Requirements: Clinician will not float within scope or to sister facilities.
• Block Schedule Accommodation: Not available.
• Local Candidates: Accepted.

Special Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (Master's degree required).
• Experience working with pediatric populations in outpatient settings is essential.
• Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends required.

Schedule:

• Day Shift (5×8-Hour, 07:00 – 16:00).

Time-Off Requests:

• Up to 6 shifts off allowed during the 13-week assignment (requests subject to facility approval).
