Lead the Way in Surgical Services

As the Registered Nurse Director – Surgical Services, you will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the surgical services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and safe patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic direction and oversight for the department.
• Managing and mentoring a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
• Implementing and maintaining best practices in surgical services.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of experience in a leadership role in surgical services preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Licensure: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of Texas required.
• Certifications: Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) and/or Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred.
