Provide Essential Support in a Fast-Paced Surgical Setting

As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing essential support during surgical procedures. You will prepare the operating room, ensure sterile conditions, and assist the surgical team, contributing to optimal patient outcomes in a Level III Trauma Center.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program, OR
• Completion of a military training program in surgical technology, OR
• Work experience in surgical technology (including education from a non-accredited program).
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of recent experience as a surgical technologist.
• 2 years of OR surgical technologist experience.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring sterile conditions.
• Arrange and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Assist with patient positioning and preparation.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
