Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated and experienced Team Leader Imaging Service Technician to join our partner hospital in Randallstown, MD. This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a potential sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.

Lead the Way in Imaging Services

As a Team Leader Imaging Service Technician, you will oversee the daily technical operations of a specific imaging area, such as CT, Ultrasound, or MRI. You will supervise and mentor a team of technologists, ensuring adherence to protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Oversee daily technical operations, ensuring adherence to protocols and quality standards.
• Staff Management: Schedule and supervise technologists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Inventory Control: Manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Budget Planning: Assist in preparing the annual operating and capital budget.
• Policy and Procedure Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to technologists.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5-7 years of technical/clinical experience in the relevant imaging modality (CT, Ultrasound, or MRI).
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Maryland License – Certified Medical Radiation Technologist with Advanced Level CT Certification (if applicable)
  • ARRT Registered
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
