Provide Essential Diagnostic Imaging Services

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. You will prepare patients for procedures, acquire high-quality images, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts.
• Accurately capture and process high-quality images for physician interpretation.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Board eligible for certification at the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer License OR Oregon Sonographer Temporary License.
  • Upon hire: BLS – American Heart Association certification.
  • National Certification from ARDMS within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• For new graduates:
  • Must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
• 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience.
