Key Responsibilities:
Provide Comprehensive Veterinary Care:
Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic assessments.
Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for a variety of animal health issues.
Perform a wide range of veterinary procedures, including vaccinations, surgeries, dentistry, and diagnostic testing.
Provide client education on animal health, disease prevention, and home care.
Counsel clients on pet nutrition, behavior, and other related topics.
Client Communication:
Build strong relationships with clients and maintain open and honest communication regarding their pets' health.
Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, and potential risks and benefits.
Address client concerns and answer questions professionally and compassionately.
Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians, support staff, and other veterinarians to ensure the best possible patient care.

Qualifications:
Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Licensure/Certification: Valid Alaska Veterinary Medical License.
