Sectra has completed its acquisition of Oxipit, a developer of autonomous AI for radiology.
With the deal closed, Sectra now owns ChestLink, Oxipit's flagship product, which automatically identifies and clears high-confidence normal chest x-rays from the radiology worklist, allowing radiologists to focus on cases with a higher probability of disease, Sectra said. ChestLink holds CE Class IIb certification for autonomous chest x-ray analysis, according to the firm.
The acquisition complements Sectra's existing vendor-neutral AI marketplace, the company noted. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
