Clinical trial management services firm Clario has acquired NeuroRx, an imaging analysis firm with a focus on multiple sclerosis.
NeuroRx offers clinical trials with imaging-related services that include protocol assistance to the interpretation and reporting of data; it has supported approvals of numerous neurological therapies since 2011, including 12 U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved multiple-sclerosis drugs.
Clario has also signed a definitive agreement to acquire WIRB-Copernicus Group's electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments (eCOA) business.
The company hopes the two deals will "strengthen [its] scientific expertise and service delivery capabilities in the neuroscience therapeutic area."
