GE HealthCare secures Mass. CT, MRI contract

GE HealthCare (GEHC) and not-for-profit, independent health system Cape Cod Healthcare in Massachusetts have kicked off a technology modernization effort that will add advanced CT and MRI technology at two hospitals.

The project includes installations at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis and Falmouth Hospital that will expand access to advanced imaging services, including cardiac care, according to GE HealthCare.

Planned for Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth are the Revolution Apex and Revolution Ascend CT installations with on-device AI applications, according to GE HealthCare. Both hospitals will also get Signa Artist 1.5T wide-bore MR systems with Sonic DL for imaging protocols and image reconstruction and Air Recon DL for image reconstruction.
