Virtus Healthcare Staffing seeks a dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our partner, a leading medical center in Portland, OR. This is a full-time, day shift position at a 523-bed facility established in 1875.

Contribute to Advanced Cardiac Care

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures. You will utilize your specialized skills and knowledge to ensure the safe and effective delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and interventional techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in performing invasive diagnostic cardiovascular testing and treatment procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and monitor sophisticated cardiovascular equipment.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Document procedures and patient care accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's Degree: Graduate of an accredited program or equivalent education/experience.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) OR
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography
  • Upon hire: BLS – American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: ACLS – American Heart Association
