SCCT names 2024 masters, fellows

The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) has named four society members who earned designations of masters of SCCT (MSCCT) and fellows of SCCT (FSCCT) in 2024.

The following members secured the MSCCT designations last year:

• Ronald Karlsberg, MD, Cedars Sinai Smidt Heart Institute and the David Geffen School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA
• Ronen Rubinshtein, MD, Edith Wolfson Medical Center, Holon, Israel

The following members earned the FSCCT designation:

• A. Sami Abuzaid, MD, Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute, Anchorage
• Shuai Leng, PhD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN

The MSCCT and FSCCT designations recognize members who, following completion of training, show evidence of an ongoing commitment and contribution in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases through cardiovascular CT research, education, and patient care.
