Radiation Therapist R.T.(R)(T)(ARRT) | Advanced Cancer Treatment Center | Colorado

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiation Therapist R.T.(R)(T)(ARRT) to join our client, an integrated network of physician practices, specialty centers, and hospitals providing multidisciplinary cancer care. This cutting-edge facility is home to nationally renowned experts and accredited for some of the most advanced radiation technologies and treatments available.

State-of-the-Art Treatment Facility
Equipped with a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, Elekta Flexitron HDR afterloader, superficial x-ray unit, and The Client CT simulation, this center offers a comprehensive scope of radiation therapy techniques, including VMAT, SRS, SBRT, DIBH, HDR & LDR brachytherapy, and radiopharmaceuticals. Patients benefit from leading-edge treatments, including tumor-genetic profiling and access to more than 120 therapeutic agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and precise radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions.
• Operate and maintain advanced radiation therapy equipment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists.
• Monitor patients for treatment responses and report any clinical changes.
• Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate treatment records.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy training program.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • R.T.(R)(T)(ARRT) certification required.
  • Must meet Colorado state licensure requirements for Radiation Therapists.
• Experience: Prior experience in an advanced radiation oncology setting preferred.
